Will I pay tax in the UK on savings I bring from Canada? - savings uk

I am Canadian but live in the UK. If a savings of Canada to the UK to buy a house, I will the money when it comes to taxes, then they have already paid taxes on that income in Canada?

No tax is applicable if they focus on profit invested. However, you must pay every month or every year, "council tax" when buying your home.
